Slowly But Surely....

I've been working on the letters for Hudson's wall and finally got the canvas tiles covered yesterday.

Now all I need to do is attach the brown ribbon to them that they will hang from. I'll have to play around with the ribbon and decide how much I want to use, depending on how low I want them to hang. The chair is being delivered on Monday so hopefully I'll have the letters up Monday or Tuesday. I can't decide whether I want them to hang straight across, or zig-zag. Once again, that's just something I'll have to play with.

I did a good bit of organizing in the nursery yesterday, but still have more to do. That is going to be the hardest part for me...deciding where things should go and how it works best for us. I want to be able to reach his little PJs and onesies while I'm changing him, I want to be able to access changing necessities easily, etc. I'll probably end up playing with the organization of things a couple of times until I figure out what works best where. I got some things packed in his hospital bag, and picked out what clothes I'm going to take for him, I just need to wash them. Now I need to pack MY bag!! There are a few more little things we need to get for Hudson, so we're planning on getting those this weekend. There are several things he won't need for months so we're in no hurry to get them right now. We just want to make sure we have the necessities for the first couple months of his life! Hopefully in a week or so I can say everything is done and ready for his arrival! We'll see if we ever get to that point though! HA!
