We All Have Our Quirks

Ya know, those funny little ticks and quirks we all have.....they make us each unique and special, right? 

Well, Hudson definitely has his own quirks. It could be a little OCD, but we'll just call them his "quirks". :-)

For instance......

He is absolutely obsessed with things being "just" right. I think he might be a bit of a perfectionist. He pitches some kind of fit when he can't get things the way he wants them. I guess we all do, don't we? ;)

Yesterday he decided all the cleaning supplies needed to be put in a row......

That wasn't acceptable, so a big group would do......

 I didn't get a picture of it, but he proceeded to put them all back in the cabinet under the sink. BUT, he wasn't done. They all had to come back out for another round of musical supplies.

He does things like this a lot.

This morning, it was the couch pillows that needed a little shuffling. 

When I came out of the kitchen to see what he'd done, he quickly started putting them up. HA!

One lucky pillow was chosen as the winner.....

of being a nice comfy seat.

This kind of thing goes on a lot at our house. He is obsessed with sorting, stacking, grouping, etc. I guess it's good that he's practicing these skills at an early age. It's just funny to watch him "work" and try so hard to get things just the way he wants them.

I hope y'all have a great weekend. I plan to work on painting that little table and chairs for the playroom.
