18 Weeks

How Far Along? 18 Weeks.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I was up 12 lbs at my 17 week appointment last week. So...yeah.....it's definitely coming on quicker this time around, which is to be expected, I guess. I hope it SLOOOOOOOWS DOWN at some point!

Genders: BOY AND A GIRL!!! Grayson Wells and Raegan Elise! :-) You can read about the names here.

Maternity Clothes? I've moved to maternity pants/jeans now and am so. much. happier. and much more comfortable. I was doing the BeBand over my pants but adjusting that thing every single time I bent over or sat down got REAL old! I can't wait to live in maxi dresses this summer.

Stretch Marks? No. I didn't get any with Hudson, so here's to hoping I have the same luck this time around.

Sleep: Pretty good. Not as good as it was, though. But still pretty good. I just need more. :)

Movement: Baby boy is all over the place. I feel baby girl a little bit but I think she's just much more reserved. She has been on every ultrasound, anyway. Her position probably makes me feel her a little less too. (breach, face down)

Food Cravings: I want a soft jumbo pretzel with cheese sauce in the worst way!! I would also like a huge piece of chocolate cake with a big glass of milk. And if anyone can make that happen...that'd be greeeaaat. A little OJ before bed is a must. Strawberry Frosted Mini Wheats (YUM!!), fruit, cheese, popsicles, and those five-alarm chili peanuts!!!

Food Aversions: Aversions are pretty much gone now, thank goodness. If I get a whiff of something less than appetizing in the morning, that'll get me though.

Labor Signs: No!

Symptoms: I'm very sensitive to smells, especially in the mornings. If it hits me bad enough, I'll get sick. Fixing Hudson's breakfast is still a challenge some days. The sciatic nerve pain has set in and carpal tunnel is starting. It's bearable, though, but I thought I had a little while before it all started. Oh well. :)

Belly Button In or Out? In.

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Miss Anything? Can't say that I do.

Best Moment This Week: Finding out we're having a boy and a girl, and that they look healthy, picking out their names, and buying their first little outfits.

Looking Forward To: Just continuing to have a healthy, easy pregnancy. Wanting to get through our anatomy scan in a few weeks and know the babies both look 100% perfect and healthy!

And because I haven't been good about posting bump pics....
I had Joseph take this last night. How 'bout that belly??!!! That thing just pops up out of nowhere one day, I swear! I looked like this around 22 weeks or so with Hudson. Yikes!
I hope y'all are having a great week!!

Hudson's Monogrammed Clothes

I have uploaded Hudson's monogrammed clothes in a public album on Facebook. You can find it here. Anyone on Facebook should be able to view it, but if you have trouble please let me know. You might not be able to comment on the pics, so I've numbered all of the items and you can shoot me an email with the number(s) of the items you'd like or have questions about.
There are a lot of cute onesies, shirts, shirt/pant sets, shirt/short sets, shortalls, etc. There are even several burp cloths and bibs. All of the items are clean, stain-free, and in great condition. Some of them might need a little ironing but that's it. Mama hates ironing. ;-)

Here are a few of my favorite items from the album.

12m yellow Polo shirt

12m beehave Turkey shirt. Also have brown/white gingham pants to match.

12m santa sock monkey shirt

But there are so many more cute things you need to see if you know anyone who has or is having a Hudson! From simple monogrammed onesies to holiday outfits and a sock monkey birthday outfit that is to die for! There are a few things with Hudson's initials (HTP) so they would work for any boy with those initials.
I can only accept payments via PayPal and will ship via USPS, with a cost of either $5 or $10, depending on the size envelope/box needed to ship your items.(most will be $5)
If you have any questions just shoot me an email. :-) If you leave a blog comment, please make sure you are NOT a no-reply blogger. I cannot send you a direct reply to your email this way. I'll comment back on the post under yours but you might not see that right away. If you don't know how to check and change this, check out my lovely friend Whitney's post about it.
Emailing me using the email contact button on the sidebar is the best and fastest way to reach me.
Happy Saturday!!

Monogram Sale?

First of all, THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH for the sweet words and congratulations on our sweet Raegan Elise and Grayson Wells. We are overjoyed and can't wait to welcome them into the world and complete our family.

Also, I went through Hudson's old clothes this morning and cleaned out things that are too small (and that will go to Grayson). I also picked out all of his nice monogrammed items to sell. They are all in very good condition, from a clean and smoke-free home, and I'd LOVE for another precious Hudson to be able to wear them. I'm probably going to post a public album on Facebook, which I will link back here, so if you know anyone who has or is having a Hudson send them my way! I still have one last box of his really small clothes to go through, and I know there are some monogrammed things in it as well, but I'll have to get Joseph to get that box down from the attic for me. I'll share the link to the album when I make it, which could even be today. There are a lot of simple monogrammed onesies, as well as cute Summer sets, shortalls, etc. I also have several nice, clean, and stain-free bibs and burp cloths that will be in the album. They are also monogrammed, SUPER cute, and in great condition.

Oh, and also....

Y'all have a wonderful weekend!!

Introducing...

We got to see our little babes yesterday AND find out that we're expecting a little boy and a little girl!! We tried not to get our hopes up, but we were REALLY wanting to find out what we were having at this appointment. When the ultrasound tech brought it up before we did, we jumped on the chance to find out!!  We're not the patient kind of people who can wait until delivery to find out the gender...especially with twins! I think that's really fun but I could never do it.
She was able to to identify little miss first, then it became VERY clear that Baby "A" was a HE!! (if you know what I mean!)

Up until the last few weeks, I had no vibe about who was in there. I've had a boy/girl feeling for the last few weeks and I can't believe I was right. Joseph also thought right all along. For the record, he ALSO was the one who pushed me to take a pregnancy test, mentioned that it could be twins at LEAST two times before we found out, then has all along said it was a boy and a girl. I think he should start a psychic network, no??? ;)

The most important thing to us to find out is that the babies are healthy, which they are. For that we are so thankful. It's just icing on the cake to find out we'll be adding a precious boy AND a girl to our family.

Now, for the names. Since I can remember I've wanted to use Rae for my girl's middle name one day. My grandmother (who passed away almost 2 years ago) was named Rae. I called her "Rae Rae". If Hudson had been a girl, his middle name would've been Rae. We chose Thomas for him, after my grandfather and Joseph's father. We decided that if we were having 2 girls, one would get the middle name Rae and one would get the middle name Elise, which is my middle name. I dropped it and kept my maiden name after I got married so I'm excited to bring it back into the family. Since we've both had the boy/girl vibe, we decided the girl's name would be Raegan Elise. It's usually spelled "Reagan" but we changed it to be "Rae"gan, after my grandmother. We both fell in love with it immediately and knew that was our girl's name. If there had been two girls, we'd have been in trouble. We are super picky about first names.

For our boy, we knew we wanted his middle name to be "Wells", after his sweet grandfather who passed away before we got married....George Wells Puckett. He and Joseph were very close. First names for boys are SO hard!! It took us forever to settle on Hudson. Joseph campaigned REALLY hard for another George, but we found Grayson (which we'd both heard of before, obviously) and really liked how it sounded with Wells, and fit in with the rest of the names. It also keeps the same initials as his grandfather...GWP, which we think is cool and special.

As clueless as we were about names just a couple weeks ago, we were able to fall in love with the perfect ones for our children pretty quickly. We can't wait (OK, maybe a few months to get things ready) to have Grayson and Raegan here with our sweet Hudson!!! Our family will be complete and we know Hudson will be the best big brother ever!!

First purchases for the twins. I'm not used to flowers and pink things!! HAHA!

I am thankful that we've kept all of Hudson's clothes so Grayson can use some of them and save mama and daddy at least a little money. ;)
While Grayson is the wild child, moving and kicking around everywhere, Raegan seems to be the more reserved of the two right now. You can see Grayson's profile perfectly, but Raegan seems to like laying on her tummy with her head down. She's looking forward in the ultrasound picture, hence the skeleton face. :) She's also breach right now so I'm hoping she decides to move and change positions over the next several weeks.

We go back in 4 weeks for our big anatomy scan. This is the scan in which they will look at every single organ and nook and cranny of the twins, one at a time. Although I have faith that everything will be OK with them, I'm still nervous and am hoping and praying for a good report!
We are overjoyed to be adding them to our family and can't wait to meet them! We feel so blessed.

Hudson's Birthday Weekend, Continued

Saturday was jam-packed with fun, family, friends, food, and driving. We had to head out pretty early Saturday morning, since the party was in Gadsden. We didn't want to haul the gifts we got Hudson because we worried about having enough space on the way back. So, we decided to wait until Sunday morning to give him his big gifts from us (aside from the swing set, of course!). We did also get him a few more puzzles, along with a storage rack for them, and a little set with goggles, gloves, and earmuffs to use with the workshop we got him, and gave those to him at the party.

On Sunday, after breakfast, we presented him with the first gift.

He pretty much loves it!!! It's going to take him a little practice to figure out the pedaling, but he's trying. We'll have to get a helmet, especially since there's no strap to secure him with. I think he'll love this, especially once he's big enough to ride on his own, without the parents' handle.

Next up was the workshop. I wanted to get him a kitchen, because he LOVES my old kitchen at my parents' house, but Daddy said a workshop would be better. I guess he's right. Nothing wrong with a man learning how to cook, though!! ;-)
This workshop is so cute with all kinds of little play tools and "wooden" pieces he can build with. I need to get a few more pieces to add to it, but he's having a lot of fun with it already.

For dinner, we thought we'd end the birthday weekend with our boy's favorite...Mexican!!
He comes by his love of cheese dip honest.

We had a great weekend celebrating our boy's big birthday. Saturday was a fun-filled family/friends party day, and Sunday was a quiet "just the 3 of us" day to close it out. It was perfect., and since this will be his last birthday as an only child, I am so thankful it went the way it did.

Bubble Guppies Overload!!

Hudson had an amazing 2nd birthday party on Saturday!! The weather was perfect (a little windy) and there was lots of fun to be had! We had a huge Bubble Guppies bash and everything turned out perfectly. If you're not a parent of a young child or don't have any young kids in your life, you're probably saying to yourself "What the hey is Bubble Guppies?!?!" It's a cute show on Nick Jr. and Hudson has been obsessed with it since day one. It's actually one of the least annoying of the kids' shows so I'm cool with that. It's really cute and educational, too, so I feel good about him watching it.
I decided a good while ago the theme would be Bubble Guppies so I've had plenty of time to get together ideas, supplies, and decor.
Let's get started with some party pictures, shall we? I'll try my best not to share all 84(culled down from over 200) of them. ;-)
The invitations, welcome sign, cupcake toppers, favor tags, banner, labels, etc. all came from Etsy.

Favor table! These adorable favor holders came from Party City. They're huge and held lots of goodies!
I whipped the little sign together myself and it matched the rest of it pretty well.
We put lots of ocean themed things in the bubbles...stickers, individual Goldfish bags, mini ocean pinball games, a small container of bubbles, suction cup balls...anything ocean or bubble related/looking. HA!
THE CUTEST cake ever!!! I'm so thrilled with how it looked AND tasted!!
It came from Albertville Home Bakery and we'll definitely be using them from now on. Affordable, adorable, and delicious! Can't beat that!
There was a lot of orange and blue for this Alabama fan to take in. ;-)

Donut holes, AKA: bubble bites. Too cute, I know!

Notice the adorable cookies, made by Alison Hathcock in Gadsden. They are not only cute, they are also DELICIOUS!!!
I took this picture before the pizza was delivered. In one episode, there's "Molly's Moon Pizzeria". I played on that by just calling it Hudson's Pizzeria. I made this sign as well. Quick and simple with some Google images!
We also had some chicken bites.
How cute are these gummy fish kabobs??? I die!
Love these straws from Etsy, along with the assorted Bubble Guppies containers, also from Etsy.
 "Ocean water", AKA: Blue Lemonade
Pond Water = plain water. :-)
Love the labels that came with the party pack I got on Etsy. Perfect fit for Juicy Juice boxes, and a little bracket to write the kids' names in.

Present time! You'll notice my child has about 50 balloons tied to him. If you don't already know this, he's obsessed. Like, crazy obsessed. He was more concerned about his balloons than he was the gifts so next year we'll just ask everyone to bring a balloon for him! HAHA! But really...
Finally getting into it. And don't worry, now that we've gotten home and the excitement is over, he's LOVING his toys!!! Boy racked up on some great gifts...toys, puzzles, new dishes, clothes, books, etc. We are so appreciative!
Daddy, I mean, Hudson got a cool guitar!!

Loving on his stuffed animal from Aunt Lissa and Uncle Johnny.
Anything Alabama related is always a winner!!!
 My sweet boys!

After gifts, it was bouncy house time!! It doesn't go with the whole "Bubble Guppies" theme, but I mean....why not?
The big kids had more fun than anyone, I'm pretty sure! ;-)
Hudson was a little unsure but never cried or anything. He was just cautious.
Going down the slide with Catherine.
I think Aunt Catherine had herself a good time. ;-)
 Love!
 Hanging out with G-Nana.

There's an episode called "Fishketball", where they identify all the different types of balls and the sports they're used in, and I found this idea(along with the printable fish) on Nick Jr and had to do it. I made it using a project board and it was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I think my teacher crafting days came in handy.
I tried to find beanie fish to use for throwing, but was unsuccessful so bean bags worked just fine.
Kaden loved the game! I'm glad someone did. ;-)

Poppy taking a break.

 The SIL and me.

The birthday boy really enjoyed himself, and was totally oblivious to the birthday shirt debacle that took place, so he didn't miss the real one at all. It didn't come in time (still hasn't), and I was told more than once that it would be here. Luckily, we had this one and it matched perfectly. The shirt(that I ordered on 3/8) was the only hiccup we had and for that I'm thankful.
*if you'd like to know who I ordered from on Etsy, for your future reference, send me an email and I'll let you know*
 Hudson with his Aunt Lissa.
More Fishketball fun. I'm just glad it got used. HA!
I also found this cute thing on Nick Jr.'s website. I printed out the pictures, glued them to a board and it's a little Bubble Guppies photo booth! Cute!
Unfortunately, it kinda got hidden during the party and we found it afterward so Hudson and Daddy were the only ones who got to test it out.

We are so thankful for the beautiful day we had and for all of our sweet family and friends who came to celebrate our sweet boy's 2nd birthday! We are blessed to have each of them in our lives and are thankful they love our boy so much. And a huge thank you to my parents for hosting again this year, and for all they did to get the party ready!!! Y'all were a huge help!

This mama was exhausted afterward, and I can't imagine having to do this in August or September when I'm waddling. HA!
More from the birthday weekend coming tomorrow.
