I met Ashley when we taught preschool together a few years back and she is just one of the best people!! We've kept in touch ever since and I am thrilled to be teaming up with her.

Instead of trying to speak for her, I asked Ashley to share some words about herself, her career with Stella & Dot, and the company itself.

Hi my name is Ashley Stork & I am a Stella & Dot stylist. We have a fab collection of jewelry, bags and scarves meant to complete any look & fit the modern woman's busy life on the go all while looking chic & effortlessly put together. I first fell in love with our designs two years ago. I was unhappy in my demanding retail job, & longing to start a family. I needed to continue to work but wanted to be able to stay home & I knew with my retail hours it was going to be difficult to maintain my work hours & mommy hours. I took a leap of faith blindly hoping this was my way out. In my first month, I was profitable & I LOVED it. Every trunk show got easier, more fun, & my hostesses & customers were loving it. 6 months later, I was able to quit my full time job & pursue Stella & Dot full time. While our plans for starting our family are on hold, & I have returned to work full time, while doing Stella & Dot full time to my husband can pursue his dreams of becoming a CRNA, Stella & Dot has always been the answer for me. It flexs around my schedule & needs. I love how delighted my customers are when our gift-ready items arrive to their door in adorable packaging, how excited my hostesses get to go on a full shopping spree and I most love helping women all over the country start their own Stella & Dot business on their own terms. 

Being a stylist is always full of fun and adventure. We sell through our in-home trunk shows & online. Trunk shows are where I go & set up in someone's home and we invite their friends to come over to browse, catch up, get style tips & hear about the latest trends. We don't do a presentation to keep a relaxed and casual atmosphere. In addition to doing 1-2 shows a week(stylists can choose how many & how often they do shows), I also coach & mentor a team of 30+ ladies all over the US. I enjoy brainstorming with them, collaborating on ideas & celebrating their successes. Stella & Dot provides us with fun incentives too. We have monthly meetings as well as larger area training meetings and our national conference. It's never a dull moment!
