You should check her out, she's hilarious.
Are you ready for a whole lotta random information?? I may have shared some of these before, but I tried to make sure "that is brand new information!!!" TV reference, anyone? No?
Anyway, here we go....
fact - I am an only child and always wanted a sibling when I was younger. Now that I'm grown, I'm secretly glad I'm an only child. No brother or sister to bicker with, more presents for myself, and hey, I'm my parents' favorite by default!! I mean.......wait...what?
fact - I have never ever ever colored my hair. That doesn't mean I didn't want to, though. I went through a phase in middle/high school when I desperately wanted to put red streaks in my hair. I blame the Spice Girls for this. I also wanted blonde hair. Yeah..I wouldn't have lived to tell about it if I had done it.
fact - I'm a sucker for sunsets. Sunrises are nice, too, but sunsets are my obsession. I will practically break my neck trying to get a picture of a beautiful sunset. When we build our dream home one day, the first thing I'll look for in the land is the view of the sunset. It's a requirement.
fact - I quote movies and TV shows waaay too much. (Reference quote above. That was Phoebe from Friends.) "I love lamp." "Loouuuuuddd noises!!" Seriously, I can't stop. "That's what she said." Yeah, OK. Moving on...
fact - For about a year or so(5th or 6th grade), I wore glasses and braces at the same time. I have never felt sexier.
fact - If sarcasm were a font, I'd type in it 90% of the time.
fact - Oh yeah, I wore said braces for 4 long years. Yeah....
fact - Also, in the 7th grade, I went through a sweatshirt/bun hairstyle phase. I was obsessed with this sweatshirt and I wore my hair in a bun almost every day that school year. I was weird back then. My early teen years were filled with sexiness, I tell ya.
fact - I learned how to drive in my grandparents' backyard and around the cemetery down the road from their house. Yep. Can't make this stuff up.
fact - I have a certain order in which I apply my makeup. I never deviate from it.
fact - The first thing I notice about a person is their handshake. I also notice if they make eye contact with me.
fact - I could eat french fries, mashed potatoes, or any other type of potato 3 times a day, 7 days a week. My love of potatoes is unhealthy...literally!
fact - I have entirely too many nail polishes. I have to buy one just about every time I'm in a store. I'm the same way about lip glosses. I don't know where this addiction came from.
fact - I have never gotten a ticket before. Actually, I've never even been pulled over before. And it's not 'cause I'm a perfect driver, either. I guess I'm just lucky. And I'm hoping any cops out there don't read this and find me to pull me over just to tarnish my spotless driving record.
fact - I've never shot a gun before. They actually kinda terrify me, but I really want to learn how to handle and shoot one so I can be prepared if I need to defend myself, or my family.
fact - While we're on the subject of guns, I believe in the 2nd amendment. That's as deep as I'll get on that one.
fact - I own the entire Friends series. I've seen every episode at least 15 times. There will never be a show as great as Friends. Ever.
fact - I recently discovered Wings on Netflix. 2nd to Friends, it's my favorite show of all time. I love TV too much, I'll admit it.
fact - I wasn't a coffee drinker until I became a mom. Getting up every 2 hours for 4 months will do that to ya!
fact - I judge my coffee by its color. I know it's right when I get it to a certain color with the creamer. That's the only thing I judge based on color, though....well, that and bananas. I like mine more on the green side, in case you're wondering...bananas, not coffee.
fact - History was my least favorite subject in school. I can't explain why. I guess it just bored me. English/Grammar was my absolute favorite. That or math.
fact - I'm not good at hiding my feelings. If I'm mad, sad, or happy, it shows all over my face. I'm not good at "putting up a front". Do people still say that?
fact - I do, however, bite my tongue. A LOT!
fact - Sonic has the best onion rings, hands down. I sub them for my fries/tots every time I eat there. The breading is light and crispy, not heavy and greasy. Ummm, thats reminds me...I need to run to Sonic Target for something.
fact - I'm not good at updating apps on my phone. I'll let them pile up until it says I have like 12 to update. Drives my husband crazy and he usually updates them for me. I just put it off.
fact - I have no tolerance for rudeness. I know we all have issues and problems and sometimes have bad days, but there's no need for general rudeness, ever. I think if we were all nicer, more considerate, and more tolerant, the world would be a MUCH better place!
fact - I rarely ever finish a book. I just don't have the time or patience to finish most books I start.
fact - Once I find a new favorite song or two, I'll wear them out on my iPod. My poor husband. Bless his heart, if I discover a new song right before a road trip or something that puts us in the car for a while. Repeat...repeat...repeat...he's a patient man.
fact - I hate to watch war, Western, or sci-fi movies. Eww. No....just...no.
fact - I'm a lot goofier than I appear....really, though, I think I'm a lot funnier than I actually am.
fact - I'm bad about not throwing things away sometimes. I'll leave an empty bottle of shower gel in the shower for weeks. Oops.
fact - I don't like water chestnuts. I mean, seriously, what ARE they?? They have no flavor and the texture is just wrong. Do away with the water chestnuts, I say!!
fact - I would rather do almost any household chore instead of Swiffering the floors. It's the worst.
fact - I would just about rather walk than ride in a cab in NYC! Have you ever ridden in one?
Man, they drive fast! And the constant stop & go will make you vomit! I almost tossed my cookies several times on our honeymoon.
fact - Publix commercials make me cry.
fact - I've only had like 2-3 boyfriends in my life. I just wasn't really one for "dating". After all, my husband and I are HS sweethearts.
fact - I think I can sing much better than I really can. I pretend like I'm Adele or Carrie Underwood when singing in the car or shower. I'm awesome. Don't burst my bubble!
OK, I think that's enough randomness. If you made it this far, you're a saint! Bless you!!
Be sure to link up to Whitney with your randomness. Or at least, check out her blog! You won't be sorry!
Have a Terrific Tuesday!! Oh yes, I did just say that cheesiness! You can never have too much cheese, I always say.
Are you talking about the Wings show with Joe and Brian as pilots? Gosh, I loved that show!
ReplyDeleteOh yes ma'am!!! Wasn't it the best!?! Found out it's on Netflix, which we have built in to our new TV. Needless to say, I haven't been too productive lately. ;)
DeleteHahaha so many of these made me giggle! The one's about your "sexy" middle school days were hilarious! My hubby and I are high school sweethearts too! I feel like there were so many of these that we had in common, like leaving empty bottles in the shower. I do that alot. Oops!
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm really picky about stuff cluttering my kitchen, living room, and other areas, but I will let my bathroom go big time!! I should work on that. :)
DeleteStopping by from the link up - I am the same way about empty bottles in the shower and I firmly believe that anything in life can be related to an episode of friends
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I'm pretty sure we could be BFFs! ;) Thanks for stopping by!
Deletethat's a LONG list! and i loved every minute of it....i am pretty sure we were seperated at birth....i knew that "brand new information" was a phoebe quote before you even said it cuz i have the GIF saved to my work computer. it's that serious....i always put my makeup on in the same order every day....i once sent my coworker to the coffee shop with a torn piece of paper bag so they could make sure my coffee was just the right color by comparison, sonic onion rings are the perfect food. before we got a sonic here, we were in SC for my BFFs wedding and i made my husband stop at sonic at 9 in the morning on the way to the airport so i could get some before we left. i finally did a few app updates last night but it pained me...i was up to 47. and seriously? water chestnuts? vomit.
ReplyDeleteIs it too soon to say I love you? Seriously, sister, did we just become best friends?!?! Too funny!!! You just found yourself a new loyal follower!!
DeleteI leave empty bottles in the shower ALL the time and my hubs gets a tad irritated...can I blame him? Nah. And I agree with Emily, Friends is a great representation to any moment in life. :) Great post!
ReplyDeleteTotally relate to so many of these facts! I've never colored my hair, haven't gotten a ticket, also judge my coffee my its color, & apply my makeup the same every single time.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the link up and love your blog! I am right with you on sooo many of these. I quote movies and tv (especially Friends) on the reg. And I listen to songs on repeat until I'm sick of them. Newest follower here :)
