30 Weeks

Did I type that right? 30 weeks.....THIRTY????!!! I'm trying not to let the fact that I'll be responsible for two more tiny lives in just a few short weeks freak me out, but honestly....

How Far Along? 30 Weeks.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'll just plead the 5th from here on out....for my pride, at least! HA!

Genders: BOY AND A GIRL!!! Grayson Wells and Raegan Elise!

Maternity Clothes? Yep!! With the exception of stretchy pants at home and some maxi dresses, I'm in maternity everything.

Stretch Marks? No. I didn't get any with Hudson, so here's to hoping I have the same luck this time around.

Sleep: It's OK. Some nights are better than others. As long as I'm cool at night, I can sleep pretty good.

Movement: Yes. Anywhere and everywhere!

Food Cravings: I've really been into lemonade, peach punch, lemonberry slushes from Sonic. Fruity drinks are so good to me right now. The sweet tooth has been in overdrive. I try to eat fruit, some yogurt, or even a little cereal when I want something sweet, but I won't lie and say I don't give in to the occasional donut or cookie. ;-)

Food Aversions: Aversions are pretty much gone now. If I get a whiff of something less than appetizing in the morning, that'll get me though.

Labor Signs: No!

Symptoms: Sciatic nerve pain, getting tired out quickly, short of breath, frequent potty breaks, and some head/backaches. I've had a few Braxton Hicks too.

Belly Button In or Out? Pretty much all out there!

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Miss Anything? Just being able to do things for myself...lift things, etc. I get super worn out after doing the smallest things and have to rest afterward, which makes being a SAHM/homemaker difficult at times.

Best Moment This Week: We had our appointment with the fetal specialist yesterday and it went well.  Our doctor wanted a second opinion on the measurements they took on the ultrasound last week so she sent us to the specialist. They also went ahead and did my weekly OB visit there so I won't go to my normal doctor until next week. They spent a good while looking over the twins and are very pleased with how they look. Baby girl is still bigger than her brother, but the specialist said this is not out of the norm and she doesn't get concerned until she sees one twin 20-25% bigger than the other. Raegan is currently 16% bigger than Grayson. She was measuring appr. 3 lbs, 15 oz yesterday (3 lbs, 6 oz 5 days ago), while Grayson was 3 lbs, 5 oz(2 lbs 15 oz 5 days ago). The specialist just wants the doctor to keep an eye on the growth and possibly even start doing growth scans every 3 weeks instead of every 4.
Other than that, everything looks perfect with the babies. I'm looking very healthy, too, which is comforting to know. My blood pressure has been so good and I'm hoping that continues until they're born.
Another tidbit: little miss, who's been either breach or transverse this entire pregnancy, has suddenly decided to put her thing down, flip it, and reverse it, and get in the vertex position (head down). Was it a smidgen inappropriate to quote a Missy Elliott song about my daughter? Probably so.
Seriously though, her head was under my right ribs just 5 days ago. It's now lower than my belly button, more on left side. Brother has been vertex the entire pregnancy and seems to like it just fine. :)

I also had to share a couple beautiful pics from the weekend. I took this Saturday evening and I could just die over how beautiful it is!

I discovered this little surprise blooming in our backyard. Limelight hydrangeas!!! Y'all. I'm obsessed with hydrangeas, but am terrified to try and buy some of my own to keep alive. (although the plants at the front of the house are thriving, people!! I'm keeping them alive! *pats self on back*)
These haven't fully bloomed, obviously, but they will be so beautiful when they do!! Free gorgeous white hydrangeas to decorate with around the house! Whoop whoop!!

Looking Forward To: Getting started on a few projects for the twins' room...namely, for their (very bare) walls. I'm going to recreate something I found on Etsy that will be super easy (and much cheaper) to do myself. I've really got to get on the ball with finishing up their room and getting things organized before their arrival!!

Have a Happy Tuesday!
