Decisions, Decisions....

To get an exersaucer,

(Evenflo Triple Fun Jungle ExerSaucer...I probably wouldn't get this specific one)

Or a jumperoo......
(Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo....also spins so it acts as an exersaucer in that sense, and a jumperoo!)

A full-size highchair,

(Graco Blossom 4-in-1 Highchair/Infant Booster/Toddler Booster/Youth Chair)

Or one that hooks onto a table........OR BOTH!
(Chicco Hook-On Chair)

Hudson is getting to the age where he is about to need a highchair and he definitely needs a jumperoo or something. He wants to be sat up or stood up 24/7 and gets annoyed with his Bumbo after a few minutes...therefore Mommy's hands are full a lot...literally. He needs something to hold him up and entertain him. I think I'll probably go with the Rainforest Jumperoo. It has great reviews and several friends rave about it as well. I love the idea of the 4-in-1 highchair and it has some great features. I also love the hook-on chair for home and for going out and traveling. I can think of reasons to get both of them.

Do any of you have favorite highchairs and/or exersaucers/jumperoos? I would love to get your feedback! :-)

  1. Lauren, Mike and I loved this high chair for for Fisher Price Space Saver. It was a great find for us. We were given an exersaucer and also a johnny jump up swing. Both served their purpose, but it is always so hard to know what a child will really enjoy. If you could borrow or shop a consignment store for them, in the end, I think you'd be glad you didn't sink too much into them... Good luck!!! H is PRECIOUS!

  2. We got a doorway jumper for Hayden- he LOVES it. The exersaucers and other stationary (well, mostly stationary) activity thingies are usually for taller babies, so he might not be able to use it for awhile. We tried the Baby Einstein exercise thingie and H was about 2" too short, and he's about 75%ile for height. But the doorway jumper you can use for much longer, I think, and it's excellent exercise. We also got a high chair that we just strap onto a regular kitchen chair. That way I sit right in front of him and it's small and portable enough to take with me on trips. Good luck!
